US Open, Jannik Sinner affronta la 25a semifinale italiana in uno Slam: ecco tutti i precedenti
Era il 1930 e il conte Uberto De Morpurgo giocava la prima e unica semifinale di uno Slam in carriera al Roland Garros diventando di fatto il primo italiano a riuscire nell'impresa. Sono passati quasi cent'anni e non solo il mondo è cambiato, ma anche il tennis si è modernizzato e ha visto la comparsa di numerosi fenomeni, ultimo dei quali Jannik Sinner, pronto a cercare l'accesso per la finale agli US Open. Per il 23enne di Sesto Pusteria si tratta della quarta esperienza in uno dei quattro tornei più importanti al mondo, tuttavia la lista degli azzurri è più lunga di quanto possa sembrare, ancora oggi capeggiata da Nicola Pietrangeli, fermo a quota cinque.
